Open Safely Program — Louisiana State Fire Marshal’s Office
The Louisiana State Fire Marshal’s Office, under the direction of Governor John Bel Edwards, and in collaboration with the Louisiana Department of Health, has activated a new, web-based program to assist businesses and religious organizations with safely resuming operations as the public health emergency due to COVID-19 continues. The portal also allows for citizens to file complaints when they are concerned about guidelines being properly followed.

LABEOC Updates (www.labeoc.org)
Vendor Information. Businesses seeking to help meet the needs of the state during this challenging time, should access the LaGov vendor system to register as a vendor with the State of Louisiana. During the registration process, you will be able to select all of the commodities that your company is able to provide. The State of Louisiana will be issuing Request for Quotes (RFQs) through the Louisiana Procurement and Contract Network (LaPAC), our on-line electronic bid posting and notification system, for the supplies/services currently needed. LaPAC will automatically send an e-mail notification to all of the vendors registered for that specific commodity. You will then be able to submit your pricing and availability electronically.

National Information Clearinghouse. The CDC and HHS have established a joint information website. www.coronavirus.gov. The site contains the most current information for businesses, healthcare, laboratories and people who are feeling sick.

Cyber Threats. DHS CISA provided free on-line assessment services for businesses to protect themselves.

Rumor Control. Fema has create a rumor control site to combat active misinformation campaigns being conducted with regards to COVID-19 and the U.S. Government response. This site provides both accurate and current information surrounding myths and rumors.
