Entergy demonstrates support of SLEC’s mission through generous gift
Entergy’s Louisiana utilities recently donated $30,000 to the South Louisiana Economic Council (SLEC) as part of its annual commitment to help the organization attract new industry, grow existing industry and create high-paying jobs in the region.
SLEC is one of eight regional economic development organizations that Entergy’s Louisiana utilities support in the state.
“Entergy’s investment in our area is one that provides continued assistance to new business startups, expansions and business relocation to the Bayou region,” says Vic Lafont, President & CEO of SLEC. “Their continual support is greatly appreciated and will further our mission in a big way.”
