Applications Open for Louisiana Economic Development’s CEO Roundtables

Thibodaux, La. — Hosted by the South Louisiana Economic Council (SLEC), the Louisiana Economic Development’s (LED) CEO Roundtables are open for applications through March 31, 2021. LED’s CEO Roundtable Program is an award-winning program aimed at sharing information with small business executives that are interested in expanding their businesses.

The Roundtables will bring together a group of 15 to 18 key decision makers that will meet over the course of 10 to 12 months for peer-to-peer learning, business networking and support. This presents a unique opportunity where CEO’s can freely explore and address issues that face business owners, and work within a collaborative, and growth-oriented mindset. The program will be led by Ray Peters, Director of MBA and EMBA Programs at Nicholls State University.

“The LED CEO Roundtable Program is an excellent opportunity for small-business owners that offers participants the tools, resources, and connections they need to further grow their businesses. We are proud to host the Roundtables, and to be a continued partner of LED and the important work they do within our great state,” said Vic Lafont, President and CEO of SLEC.

The program is cost-free for the selected applicants. Following the application period, LED will review all applications between April 1, 2021 and June 15, 2021 — at this time, applicants will be notified via email if they have been accepted into the program.

Businesses who apply must meet certain eligibility criteria. According to LED, applicants should be “a company that is past the start-up phase, has not yet reached maturity and is poised for significant growth. Typically, these are second-stage growth companies with annual revenues of $600,000 to $50,000,000 that employ between five and 99 employees and have demonstrated the desire, ability and capacity to grow.”
