Restore or Retreat will host Working for Our Coast: How Our Environment And Economy Can Work Together on Thursday, May 19, 2016. The event, presented by Chevron, will be held at the Nicholls State University Bollinger Student Union (Ballroom) from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm.
Leaders from industry, state and local government, and community organizations will be discussing insightful ways restoration and protection opportunities can benefit workers, industries, and communities.
Vic Lafont, CEO of the South Louisiana Economic Council, will join Jeb Bruneau to discuss business incentives for those companies interested in coastal work. Lafont’s session will be available at both 1:15 pm and 2:00 pm. For a full list of the day’s sessions, please visit the event website.
